The mission is simple: Do good.

At a company level, that means educating and empowering people so they’re able to make informed decisions in an identity-challenged world. And we accomplish that by collaborating with non-profits and community groups and providing the information and tools needed to help keep people safer.

It also means we provide opportunities and paid volunteer time for all employees to do good by volunteering in their local communities.


  • ConnectSafely — LifeLock is a supporter of ConnectSafely and Safer Internet Day 2015. LifeLock partners with ConnectSafely and the National PTA to enable open and evolving conversations parents can have with their kids about good digital citizenship and online safety.
  • FBI Law Enforcement Executive Development Association (FBI-LEEDA) — LifeLock partners with FBI-LEEDA to provide educational programs about identity theft and fraud. The training offers tools and techniques to law enforcement professionals to better recognize and investigate all aspects of identity theft. These trainings have reached more than 11,000 officers, including prosecutors, representing more than 4,000agencies in all 50 states including Guam and District of Columbia.
  • Identity Theft Resource Center — LifeLock partners with ITRC to provide consumers with continued communication and promotion of best practices to encourage identity safety.
  • National Consumers League (NCL) — LifeLock partners with NCL to support its signature LifeSmarts program, the nation’s premier consumer literacy competition for high school students that addresses real-world consumer topics, such as credit reports and identity theft.
  • National Organization for Victim Assistance (NOVA) — LifeLock partners with NOVA to provide educational programs focused on the specifics involved with assisting victims of identity theft and the emergence of cybercrime. The training is open to victim advocates, allied professionals and law enforcement and helps build skills for safety planning and remediation. The partnership has reached over 2,900 victim advocates representing more than 700 agencies in 25 states.
  • National PTA — LifeLock and the National PTA partner to educate parents and kids about the long-term impact of online behavior and to empower students with the knowledge and skills to be safer when using the Internet and mobile technology. In 2014, a public awareness campaign, #ShareAwesome, was launched to address online safety and good digital citizenship. In 2015, we will continue our education efforts by creating resources to help guide parents on how they can have open conversations with their kids about smart and safer online behaviors.


  • Aid to Adoption of Special Kids (AASK) — LifeLock is working with AASK, an Arizona-based nonprofit, to raise awareness of the potential identity-theft risks that children in foster care may face and offer tools to educate these children on how to help better protect themselves.
  • Alliance for Children's Rights — LifeLock is working with the Alliance for Children’s Rights to educate foster youths, and their advocates, on how they can better protect themselves against identity theft and to provide identity fraud remediation services to those who have already fallen victim to identity theft or fraud.
  • Boys and Girls Club of Metro Phoenix — For more than five years, LifeLock has been a sponsor of the Boys and Girls Club of Metro Phoenix (BGCMP), supporting students in our local community through affordable after-school and summer programs. At twelve clubs in Phoenix and the West Valley, BGCMP provides award-winning programs designed to change the lives of young people
  • First Place for Youth — LifeLock and First Place for Youth work together to raise awareness of the potential identity- theft risks that children in foster care may face and offer tools to educate these children on how to help better protect themselves.
  • National Domestic Violence Hotline (NDVH) — LifeLock and NDVH have formed a partnership to explore the link between identity theft and domestic violence and to offer assistance to those domestic violence victims and survivors whose perpetrators use identity theft to exert power and control.
  • Sojourner Center — LifeLock and Sojourner Center work together to educate domestic violence survivors about how they can help better protect themselves against becoming an identity theft victim.
  • YWCA of San Diego County — Through the YWCA Becky’s House Domestic Violence Program, LifeLock and YWCA of San Diego County offer education and assistance to those domestic violence victims and survivors whose perpetrators use identity theft to exert power and control.

Hometown Engagement/Employee Volunteerism

  • To empower employees to give back in their local communities, LifeLock provides each employee with 24 hours of paid time off to do volunteer work.
  • To facilitate company-wide giving back, LifeLock provides volunteer events, encouraging employees to step away from their desks and assist with projects that support local non-profits.
    • On April 16, 2015, LifeLock hosted its first annual LifeLock for Good Do-Gooder Day. The company gave all employees the day off to volunteer for programs in their communities that support domestic violence awareness, foster care, and providing assistance to those who are most in need.
    • On July 23, 2015, LifeLock employees donated more than 1,000 backpacks filled with brand new school supplies to help local foster children, homeless children, and those from low-income families.
    • In our second year supporting the #GivingTuesday movement, on December 1, 2015, LifeLock employees donated more than 430 toys, living essentials, and holiday cheer to children and families in need.
